The lemon poppyseed flavor combo has been a long time classic and a major winner in my book. I’ve always loved the muffins, but it’s a whole new game when you turn it into a dressing and pour it on top of all your favorite summer salads. This lemon poppyseed salad dressing creamy and sweet and comes together in about 3.5 seconds! Can’t beat that my friends!

What people are saying about this Lemon Poppyseed Salad Dressing

“…This was delicious. My wife and I immediately agreed that it would be good as a topping for a bowl of berries, or on top of pancakes, or maybe even just with a spoon. ; ) I think I might like it a little more tart, myself, and will try adding an extra squeeze of lemon – but I very much want to compliment you on this delicious recipe – probably my favorite creamy lemon-poppyseed dressing of all time! Thank you!” – Seth

“I just love this dressing!! The only change I made was that I decreased the amount of poppy seeds to 1/2 a teaspoon only because it just overwhelmed the hubby. Thanks for my new favorite dressing!” – Cindi

“Thanks so much Tiffany! I loved your easy to follow instructions and photos! I was so happy that this recipe turned out so well. It was fantastic! I love your website. Keep up the wonderful work! I definitely hope to try more of your recipes! Thank you!” – Maron

This is exactly the type of flavor profile I was looking for. It’s sweet and delicious while still having that lemon-y flavor to it. I could drink it if I could & I really mean it!!

I think it’s important to note when you randomly pull a recipe off the internet and it works amazingly. Especially since people often comment things like “looks great!” or “I will try making this sometime!” which isn’t the same as actually having made it and tasted it.

That being said, this was delicious. My wife and I immediately agreed that it would be good as a topping for a bowl of berries, or on top of pancakes, or maybe even just with a spoon. ; ) I think I might like it a little more tart, myself, and will try adding an extra squeeze of lemon – but I very much want to compliment you on this delicious recipe – probably my favorite creamy lemon-poppyseed dressing of all time! how long can you keep the lemon poppy seed dressing in the fridge ?
given the fresh garlic and onions

    1. Tiffany says:

Hi Lily! I’ve kept this up to about 2 days but I think that’s about as long as it will go because the dressing starts to separate. Be sure to give it a good mix before serving if you’v chilled it for a day or more!

  8. Jenny says:

Tiffany how do you get that bright white background in your photos? I love that effect!

    1. Tiffany says:

Hi Jenny – it’s all about your lighting and learning your manual settings on your DSLR camera! and lotttssss of practice 😉

  9. CC says:

This looks delicious! Thanks for the great recipe! How long do you think this would keep in the fridge? I’m not sure how anything mixed up with Greek yogurt lasts. Yum.

    1. Tiffany says:

Hi CC, we devoured this dressing so fast it was gone in less than a day so I’m not sure but probably not much longer than 48 hours. Good thing it’s easy and quick to whip up again! 😉
