Good. No one. So we can move on.

Pieces of Milky Way candy with three stacked brownies on the side.

I had to give my husband a stern look and shake of the head when I noticed him eyeing the star ingredient of these brownies. The Milky Ways, obviously. What he didn’t know was that I may have snuck one or seven of these when his back was turned. Maybe that’s a tad bit hypocritical, but it had to be done.

They were screaming EAT ME!!! So I did. It’s as simple as that. No regrets.

I also have no regrets about eating three of these brownies. . . for breakfast. If you make them you will empathize with me, I guarantee it. They’re just so… so. . . .soooooo…….. ahhhhhhhhhhh. Yeah. Something like that.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 bag Milky Way Bites,, chopped
  • ½ cup melted caramel, (I used Kraft caramel bits)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in cocoa and vanilla. Pour mixture in to a large bowl and add eggs, sugar, and flour.
  • Pour half of the batter into a 8×8 pan lined with foil. Scatter chopped milky way bites over the batter. Top with remaining batter and make 30-35 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  • Drizzle with melted caramel and allow to cool completely. Cut into squares and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Pro tip: I prefer to under-bake my brownies slightly so they are really chewy.

These look sooo good! I just had a few questions, looks like Milky Way for you is a Mars Bar for us. How much do the bites bags weigh? They’re not something we have here.

Also do you have the exact name of the caramels you used? I want to try and get something similar here 🙂

    Thanks!
