Expert Tips
- Use kitchen tongs to easily and safely flip the chicken while it is in the air fryer!
- The beauty of chicken thighs is that they are less likely to get overcooked than chicken breast. So if you want them extra crispy, you can cook for a few extra minutes!
- You can use bone-in chicken thighs if you’d like, but generally they are thicker and will require a bit more cooking time! If you aren’t sure how long to cook chicken thighs in the air fryer, my recipe is a good starting point. You can check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer to make sure they are cooked to at least 165 F!
- If you prefer to use chicken breast, follow my air fryer chicken breast recipe instead!
