Cookies n’ Cream Oreo Fudge Ice Cream – Oreo lovers will go absolutely nuts for this fudge-swirled cookies n’ cream ice cream! No machine needed!
You know what’s a bad idea?
Photographing the best ice cream you’ve ever tasted in your life on an empty stomach right around lunch time.
Not my best moment folks. Well, not my best as far as wise, healthy, responsible grown-up moments go. But possibly one of my most enjoyable guilty pleasure moments.
Yeah……. this stuff is good.
I’m talking ohhhh my gosh I think I might die if I don’t have another bite right this instant good. I’ve had a lot of ice cream in my day, a lot of ice cream, but I am telling you right now... this, is one of the most amazing ice creams I’ve ever had the pleasurable misfortune of coming in contact with.
I only say misfortune because I have not one lick of self control with ice cream. And when we’re discussing the top ten ice creams of my life….
There’s just no hope for me.
Can you believe this stuff doesn’t even require a machine?? Of course, I’m pretty obsessed with my Kitchenaide ice cream maker, don’t get me wrong. But sometimes I just don’t feel like taking the bowl out of the freezer, attaching it to the stand mixer, waiting for it to churn slowwwwwwly……
Sometimes I just wanna stick it in the freezer before I go to bed and have incredibly creamy, fudgey, cookie-stuffed ice cream waiting for me the next day.
I’m gonna do you a huge favor here and offer you some sound advice. Add every last drop of that hot fudge sauce to the ice cream. Every. Last. Drop. Because you will find yourself digging through the container looking for the most fudge-laden scoops of ice cream to add to your sky-high dessert bowl. So save yourself a lot of agony and wishes for more fudge. Just pour the whole stinking jar in and call it good.
And please, rather than try to test your will power by facing a serving of this ice cream on a famished stomach, have a sandwich or something first. Take it from me.

I saw this on Tastespotting and had to come over. Unlike you, ice cream is not my go-to snack, but your recipe and pictures make this look insanely good. Pinned to try and following on G+.
This looks amazing. Very very good job with the photography.
Love your blog as well.. Cheers!

I was wondering if it would still work if I put it all into one big container and froze for 24hours?
I can’t promise how long it will take to freeze completely but you can definitely freeze it in one big container. ๐
