Easy Jamaican jerk chicken tacos, bursting with flavor and on the table in 20 minutes! These are perfect for busy weeknights!
One of my best friends has this funny habit about what she eats. She can only eat food that “goes together” at one time and it drives her nuts to watch people eat random different foods all at one time. When she has breakfast, she can only eat breakfast food. And when she had dinner, she can only eat dinner food, preferably of the same cuisine. For instance, if she has Italian pasta, there is no way she could eat chips and salsa in the same sitting. No way Jose, not happenin.
I’m pretty much the opposite. I’m a gal of many cravings and I like to satisfy those cravings as soon as possible. So if I’m craving french fries and tomato soup, I get myself some dang good fries and some creamy tomato soup. If I want waffles and a bean burrito, I have no problem with eating them both within 30 minutes. So it’s really not a huge shock that my husband takes me for sushi and tacos whenever I get an inkling for both. Which, if we are being honest, happens pretty often.
These tacos are mega-delicious. I love the seasoning on the chicken, I’m crazy about the sauce, and I adore the fact that it’s all wrapped in a tortilla. Tacos tacos tacos all day long. These Jamaican jerk tacos are bursting with flavor and are so easy. They come together in about 20 minutes! That’s an easy weeknight meal if I ever had one. Put this on your go-to busy night dinner list, you’re gonna be hooked on these tacos!
What people are saying about these Jamaican Jerk Chicken Tacos
“Seriously delicious! Made these last night and they were amazing! I did dial back the cayenne pepper to 1/2 tsp because the after sampling the original seasoning, my whole head was on fire! For me, 1/2 tsp was perfect and just the right amount of kick. Thanks for this recipe! Iโll definitely be making it again.” – Gigi
“I made these for supper tonight and they were a big hit. Loved the spice and flavour. Will definitely make again!” – Christina
“This is one of my favorite meals ever. I use Greek yogurt instead of mayo, and I cut the chicken into thin slices instead of pounding it. The sauce/lime/cilantro/cabbage mixture makes for a perfect topping to the chicken thatโs already delicious on its own. Thanks for this genius recipe!” – Katie
“Absolutely phenomenal! I was a bit put off for awhile because of all the spices but finally had some leisure time to whip this up. OH. WOW. So much flavor! I love the mayo mix too. Thank so much! This will definitely be a repeat in my kitchen!” – Grace

This recipe is spot on! My husband LOVED these. Iโm cooking them again tonight. It went right in my recipe book!
Dellicious! The whole family loved it. We now make a huge batch of the Jamaican jerk seasoning to keep on hand and use in multiple dishes.
I tried this recipe and used a little less Cayenne Pepper (1 tablespoon), but if you can handle very spicy foods I recommend what the recipe says ๐ I also added a little bit more salt. Best tacos ever! Thank you!
Delicious. I sliced chicken instead of pounding, cut salt, cayenne, and crushed pepper in half because my husband doesnโt like too spicy, and used store bought cole slaw. Loved it.
Loved it!
