It’s time to share my latest foil pack obsession with you and let me tell you right now, it is GOOD. So much flavor crammed into these individual serving foil packets it’s crazy. And that flavor is coming from a handful of tasty ingredients like crunchy bell peppers, tender zucchini, fresh-squeezed lemon, sausage, shrimp, most of all, GrillMates Zesty Herb Marinade.
They aren’t kidding around when they say it’s flavor you can see. The bold spices in this Zesty Herb Marinade are the perfect compliment to the sausage, shrimp, and vegetables, and you can clearly see how much punch they’re packing into your meal. I love how easy it is to whip up this marinade and it only needs 10-15 minutes to infuse all of that big flavor into the food. Perfect for busy weeknights and fun weekend gatherings!
And speaking of weekend gatherings – this recipe has Memorial Day entertaining written all over it. McCormick Grill Mates seasoning packets are perfectly portioned and pre-measured to save you time and energy when you’re throwing together a meal for friends and family.
We usually join my side of the family at my parents for a Memorial Day BBQ, but since my mother is going to be out of town over the holiday this year, we’ve invited everyone to our house instead and I’ve got big shoes to fill because my mom’s cooking is legendary. She taught me how to make foil packs years ago, but I’ve been venturing way beyond the classing ground beef patty and potatoes lately.
When it comes to grilling my best for the ones I love, foil packs are the way to go! This combination of shrimp, sausage, and veggies came out perfect in a foil pack – tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. I can’t wait to share it with everyone this Memorial Day! They will truly help you grill your best all summer long!
These foil packs are exactly what your holiday celebrations need, and I’m just saying, you’re gonna want to make them again and again all Summer long. I usually cook these up on the full-size grill on our back patio, but we are planning a few camping trips for the Summer with friends and family and I’m so excited to throw these on the camping grill while we’re at the lake.
This recipe is so versatile so you can add any of your favorite vegetables, and even double or triple the recipe to feed a crowd. You’re going to love these no-mess, totally delicious Shrimp Sausage and Veggie Foil Packs!

Can i cut uo pot and add to tHis
O make foil packed dinners as well, however, I like all the variations you came up with. Mostly I would use onion, carrots, POTatoes, zucchini, and chicken legs or thighs in oven.
Yum! Great ideas- thanks ๐
How long do u cook with the chicken
How long do I cook the foil packets for if I cook them in the oven
Hi Ruby! I would recommend at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes, until the veggies are cooked through all the way! I hope that you love it!
Can you use frozen precooked shrimp?
Im new to cooking with shrimp and just found some in the freezer.
I definitely recommend thawing your shrimp first if frozen is what you have!
cOULD I MAKE THESE UP AND THEn freeze them?
Thawed definitely works best! I suppose you could make ahead and freeze, but be sure to thaw before you cook them!
